In May, landscapes in Southern Sardinia are still characterized by the vibrant colours of the Mediterranean maquis in bloom. The mild air is filled with the scents typical of spring. Long sunny days already allow for summer clothing, while the cool evening breeze makes life on board MOMO even more pleasant.

Events
From May 1st to 4th, Cagliari celebrates the festival of its patron saint Sant’Efisio. On May 25th in Iglesias, the annual craft fair takes place. In Carloforte, the tuna fishing season is in full swing and visitors can book guided tours of the historic tuna processing plants (tonnare).
